How many remember the 15 min break Between the Public Tlk and WT Study?
by Wasanelder Once inas kid i remember a break of 15 minutes between the public talk and the wt study.
all the new ones and "weak" ones ran out to smoke.
loved to see the attendant round them up to come back in when the droning began again.

Clever Thieves (Urban Legend material)
by Scully ina colleague of mine related an incident in her neighbourhood that happened recently.. the story begins when a couple decides one weekend afternoon to start up their barbeque to make dinner.
they go out to the back yard, only to realize that their barbeque is no longer there.
they figure it's gone for good, and since it wasn't brand new, nor was it especially valuable and they were in the market for a new one, they didn't bother to report the incident to the police or their insurance company.. a few days go by, and the homeowner is mowing his grass and goes round to the back yard again, and finds his barbeque has been returned.

i herd one where 2 guys went to a movie theater and told the workers that they were from the main office and had been sent there to send everyone that worked there home so they could find out who had been stealing from the company. everyone went home and they took the money

Pigeons on my roof!
by burnieschick ini've got pigeons nesting/roosting on my roof, blocking my gutters and messing all over my car.
any ideas how to get rid?

i was a roofer at one time and they make a thing called pigeon guards that are a foot long and have sticky stuff on the bottom and they have spikes coming out of the top of them that look like ice cycles. you could also get some fake rubber snakes and throw up there and theres also the blowgun that would surprise you on who good that would work.

friend of mine with dilemma
by burnthepig ina good friend of mine has a coworker who is a witness.
they have a good working relationship and are somewhat of friends, at least in that arena.
today at work this woman told my friend that she had something important to discuss, that could not be talked about at work.
